Small Groups
Covenant Small Groups:
Small Groups provide a place for Teaching, Prayer, Worship, Fellowship, Nurture and Service. It is our desire to see the Small Groups at Covenant grow toward each of these qualities.
Small Groups also provide one of the best places for the truth of the Gospel to be worked down deep into our lives and also communicated in a loving and welcoming environment. Where friendship is nurtured, those interested in spiritual things can see believers graple with their relationship with God, and be brought to faith by God working through us.
Come be a part of a small group, whether you have a relationship with God or are still on the journey. Come find true community, encouragement for the soul and deep satisfying truth from God's word.

Small Groups meet in various locations, in addition to the church such
as homes, apartments and restaurants. Please look for details in the
group listing.

What about
Childcare?
Each group is encouraged to work out the details of childcare whether
meeting at the church or at homes. Covenant is willing to help you with
this. For information, contact the nursery coordinator, Susan DiJulio.

Who can join a
Small Group?
Anyone is welcome. Most groups are open to new members at
first, but eventually limit new members in order to development close
relationships. Healthy groups divide and form into new groups at
significant intervals in order to provide place for new members.

Who can lead a
Small Group?
Small Group leaders are trained and experienced in leading a Small
Group. The best training is simply through participation in a Small
Group and the discipleship of your Small Group leader. From time to
time Covenant’s pastoral staff provides Small Group Leader
Training seminars, too.

How can I join a
small group?
Small Groups form as a natural outflow of relationships in the body and
also as people actively invite friends to join.
Invitation: Someone you meet at Sunday Worship, a church function or activity, may invite you to their group. As you find that they are in a small group you may ask if they would mind you joining them.
Request: Indicate your interest by signing up for a small group using the small group brochure, pew pad or calling/emailing the church office.
Start a new group: Perhaps you have been a member or a small group or led a small group at Covenant or your previous church or campus. We would love to have an opportunity to talk to you about starting a group.
