Ministry in Auburn/Opelika includes "club" meetings for students at Auburn High, Lee-Scott, Opelika High, and Opelika Middle. Includes 20 leaders working with those 4 schools. Weekly club meetings are geared for the introduction to the Gospel and usually focus on unsaved, un-churched kids. It is also a place where Christian kids can bring their friends who may not be open to visiting a church. Our calling in Young Life is to love kids right where they are and to share Christ with them primarily through our actions. Because of that, we spend countless hours in the kids' world whether it be at football games, soccer practice, school lunches (where allowed), school plays/concerts; basically anywhere kids hang out. We go there to build relationships with kids and share our lives with them. When kids see that we love them unconditionally, they normally open up and want to know about this person who is central in the leaders' lives, Jesus.
Once a kid begins a walk with Christ, they are invited to small group Bible studies to help them grow deeper in their faith.
Prayer Requests
The main prayer emphasis coming up is for kids to sign up and attend our weekend camps in February - one for high school and one for middle school. The prayers would also be for those kids attending camp to hear the Gospel clearly and turn to Jesus.

The ministry of Harvest Evangelism is based on love. We love God and are therefore committed to His command to love others. It is our plan to reach out to these types of people through several different facets of our ministry. This includes (but not limited to): Revival meetings in churches or the community at large; His/Hosanna home-local residential rehab/discipleship homes for men and women; Drug seminars-special sessions conducted in schools for grades 5-12, including information and personal testimony; Street outreaches-the act of putting God's love into action where the action is; Evangelism seminars-training and experiencing the how-to's of soul winning; Mission trips organized at specific times of the year for specific groups.
Prayer Requests
Pray for wisdom and strength for Rick and Kim and our staff.
Pray that more people will catch a vision for Harvest Evangelism as we seek to Pursue God's Love in Action, Where the Action is At.
Pray for monthly financial supporters.
Pray for more churches to have us come in and share about Harvest Evangelism or preach/teach.
Pray that God would provide good, dependable used vehicles for our His Place and Hosanna Home graduates.
Other Needs:
1. Bible Studies and Sermons on CD or DVD (workbooks, too).
2. Vehicles! This remains one of our biggest needs. We hope any of you with an extra car or truck will consider donating it to Harvest
Evangelism so we can put wheels under some needy men and women we work with at His Place, Hosanna Home, and Hope’s Inn.
3. School Supplies:
We have several children living at Hope’s Inn and Hosanna Home who have started school. Right now we have a 5 year old girl, a 5
year old boy, ....
There are always new kids coming in, so we can always use clothes and school supplies for kindergarten through Jr. High School.

For over a quarter-century, Trinity Christian School has assisted the parents of our community in educating their children in the discipline and admonition of the Lord by providing a secure Christian environment of classical academic excellence. The Lord has blessed the school with a close knit, spiritually mature, and academically gifted group of over 30 teachers to help carry on the work established in 1978. Through the years, the school has ministered to thousands of students, and today enrollment is at an all-time high. We give thanks to God for the way that He is using the school to disciple the nations, and we anxiously look to the future as we take our next step. May God continue to bless our school as we seek faithfully to proclaim His Word.
