ONGOINGButterfly pavilion: Visitors can see caterpillars, chrysalises and butterflies in this temporary enclosure. The butterfly pavilion is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through July 31. Not only are we in full swing with the summer, but we are in full swing with the renovation of our 1926 Craftsman in the Montrose area of Houston.
I’ve been having so much fun dissecting the layers of the walls as they have been coming off. I get so excited when we find a new layer of wallpaper that our client and the project manager hold out pieces for me if I don’t happen to be there on a day. As far as I can tell the (a) is the oldest and (e) is the youngest. Each piece was separated with cheese cloth, which acted as a great protector from the other layers.
