Judges select Top 10 songwriters from Central Region contest
Judges in Birmingham listened to 40 contestants perform Friday at the Birmingham Museum of Art for the Central Region Songwriters Contest. The list was narrowed to the top 10.
Those songwriters will perform again Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Pepper Place in Birmingham where a panel of three judges will select the regional winner.
The winner will join the three other regional finalists on Tuesday, July 25 at the Ritz Theatre in Sheffield for the grand finale.
