Police Search for Missing Stone Co. Woman
Stone County authorities are searching for a elderly Mountain View woman missing since Monday.
According to a 'Silver Alert' issued by police Tuesday morning, 78-year-old Mary Trantham Adkins was last seen at 201 Green Avenue in Mountain View. Authorities say Adkins suffers from Alzheimers and heart problems.
Adkins is described as five-foot-six inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with gray hair, blue eyes and a missing front tooth. Police say Adkins may be driving a silver 2001 Buick Century with a straw hat in the back windshield and a blue toy dog in the front window.
