However violence starts in the home between the parents. Only the parents can change the thinking of their children. Children learn what they live. A few open minded ones may see the light and work to change but I am not getting up any hopes.
Anger management does work I know I was one who it worked on. I was open to it though i wanted it badly. I was so full of anger after I finally got out of a bad abusive marriage of 9 years that I was afraid of what I might have done. I saw red many times. I broke furniture!
A good teacher taught me to walk away and think before I spoke to anyone before offending or hurting them. I learned how to do this pretty quiclky and after a short while was able to see my anger slowly fading and sanity coming back. it is wonderful for the first time in my life i know how to deal with anger! It feels so empowering.
I truly hope and pray something can be done to stop anger in this world. Too too much anger, hate and jealousy in this world is what is the bane of our problems I believe.

violapressley - Jealousy
It is my opinion that some people become jealous when they find others who have achieved more in life than they have, and/or when they lack attention and see others getting attention and they have an attitude like they want all the attention for them self (they don't like sharing attention very much). There are those who become jealous when they find someone may be better at doing something than they are. Some jealous people really can't take this, especially if they have been known to be the best, and/or just thought they were the best in their mind at whatever it may be, and feel someone is taking the spotlight away from them. People who are jealous may show anger, resentment, sadness, disgust. In my opinion they also act out by trying to ruin another person's reputation, by trying to intimidate others, by looking to find anything they can to criticize that person about. Jealous people are usually the type to always look for mistakes that another person makes when they can't seem to stand them doing anything well and/or better than they can. True jealousy is easy to recognize if one looks at it for what it truly is: When a person never points out what a person is good at/when a person is good at something, instead they only constantly try to find any mistakes in everything/anything to point out to them and/or others around them that they made a mistake and/or did something wrong, this is a deadly form of jealously. To be quite honest people that take jealousy to this extreme I feel "definitely has some mental issues" in my opinion.??? I would not trust people with such behavior and I also will say that I believe people who take jealousy to this extreme may be dangerous to others. It would not surprise me if people who take jealousy to such an extreme would one day end up charged with some type of criminal misconduct, not at all. Sibling Jealousy - can affect any members and all ages of a family. Most of the time this type of jealousy is caused by one feeling they lack attention from a specific family member and/or they feel another family member is getting more attention than they are. The stores that I have heard most with regards to this type of jealousy is when a family has a baby and may have other small children who suddenly feel that their attention is now taken away because of this baby.
